The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 approved by the Union Cabinet brings a paradigm shift in the Indian education system. It aims to create an education system that is holistic, flexible and multidisciplinary, and aligned to the goals of sustainable development. In this context, it is important for all the stakeholders to have a better understanding of NEP. The policy lays down comprehensive reforms that will have a far reaching impact on school and higher education institutions of India. The policy envisages creation, transmission, use and dissemination of knowledge as a part of the continuum. The goals of NEP are ambitious and futuristic but much of its success will depend on how it is executed.

To make NEP a reality, it is vital to create awareness amongst teachers, students, officials and other stakeholders in the education system so that we can collectively help India become a knowledge superpower. The NEP 2020 envisions a contemporary education system that foresees the transforming of our nation sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society by providing high quality education to all.

Join the experts, discuss the features of NEP 2020 and how it affects schools, colleges, teachers, students and the universities of the future.
